We had 4 new records were set at our 47th Swimming Gala on Jan 9, 2026, Friday. The first record was achieved by Hope House in the Boys' A Grade 4x50m Freestyle Relay. The team members are To Pak Kiu Ryan, Cheug Ka Wing Kevin, Fok Pak Hei Hysan and Lau Darryn Wai Chun clocked an impressive time of 2:00.75, breaking the previous record of 2:02.25 set by themselves preceding year.

The next record holder was To Tsz Yin Vanessa, who broke two records. First, in the Girls' Open Grade 100m Freestyle, she finished in 1:15.01, surpassing the record of 1:16.51 set by herself last year. She then dominated the Girls' B Grade 50m Freestyle with a time of 32.07, covering by herself last season with the record of 32.43.  

Finally, Tsang King Shun demonstrated remarkable determination, breaking two records of her own. She swam 1:13.91 in the Girls' Open Grade 100m Freestyle and set a new Girls' A Grade 50m Freestyle record of 31.64, smashing the mark of 31.87 held by herself in the previous year. 

Four new records were set by our elite swimmers. Their extraordinary performances were truly inspiring, and we look forward to even greater achievements in the coming academic year.
