Our school successfully organized the Mid-Autumn Lantern Workshop on October 6, 2025, in the School History Room, where students crafted traditional lanterns while exploring the science concepts behind how they light up through electricity and circuits, and learned to balance the lanterns using wooden sticks.
During the hands-on production, students nurtured craftsmanship skills and developed an engineering mindset. They also gained a deeper appreciation for the beauty and cultural significance of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival.
This event successfully combined traditional Chinese culture with STEAM concepts, with students actively engaged throughout, inspiring creativity and curiosity; we are very proud of their enthusiastic participation.
